The audio for the class will not begin until the class start time. Once the class starts, check to make sure your speakers are not muted and the volume is turned up. If that is not the case, try to change the output audio in "Audio Settings" listed at the bottom of the Zoom meeting.

The time that appears on your event calendar is the local time based on when and where you signed in.  So for example, if you live in Chicago, IL (Central time zone) and there is a class on the event calendar for 2pm, that means 2pm central time for you.

Please note, the rare situations that the time may be wrong include if you use a VPN to access the site, or are traveling between time zones when viewing the site.

You can view our "Zoom - Join and Features" document for steps on how to RSVP for a Zoom meeting or get a reminder.

The classes airing at Tuesday at 7pm eastern or Saturday at 3pm eastern on the event calendar are a little different than our normal classes.  Those classes are on the LifeSpeak program, which offers a wide range of classes available on various topics.

When you start to RSVP to those classes, you will have to register using Webex - WebEx only sends the link to the LifeSpeak class at the scheduled start time, it is not the platform the class actually uses.  If when trying to view one of these scheduled classes, if you join a WebEx conference room, it will be empty - the email you will get around the scheduled class time will provide you with the appropriate link to access the LifeSpeak platform and view their class.

Please reach out to email if you need further help with a class at these scheduled times or if you do not receive an email at that scheduled time, and we can help provide one to you.
