Chef Nino’s latest Kitchen Creations recipe has a special ingredient that will give salmon a crunchy kick. The mystery ingredient is pistachios! Join the chef on Tuesday, May 3 at 3pm EST, as he prepares Pistachio Salmon. Salmon is one fine, tasty fish that’s loaded with protein and healthy omega-3 fatty acids for heart health and more. Add in pistachios and the health benefits are taken up a notch thanks to their vitamin B6, antioxidants and cholesterol-lowering monounsaturated fats - according to the Cleveland Clinic.

Pistachio salmon Recipe

To prepare, get these ingredients: ½ cup very finely chopped pistachios, ¼ cup whole wheat panko breadcrumbs, ½ cup Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, 1 wildcaught salmon filet (about 1 pound), ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon olive oil - or - 1 tablespoon seasoning blend such as Cajun or Italian.
